Jackie Stansbury (she/her) is Executive Coordinator for the Geena Davis Institute. Founded by Academy Award-winning actor and advocate Geena Davis, the organization works within the entertainment industry to eliminate unconscious bias, highlight gender balance, and challenge stereotypes.

A Southern California native, Jackie has a B.A. in Film and the Photographic Arts from The University of Westminster in London and an M.F.A. from the American Film Institute where she specialized in Producing. Seeking strong female role models in an industry dominated by men, she landed an internship as a reader at Midge Sanford and Sarah Pillsbury’s production company and was ultimately promoted to Director of Development during their tenure at Twentieth Century Fox; developing and packaging feature films and also associate producing a television movie of the week. Additionally, Jackie has worked in management, representing actors at Edith Rea Management, as a writer/producer at JMK Life Films, and contributing writer to parenting blog “Mommy Poppins.”
