Star Wars Director J.J. Abrams: Rey Toy Omission ‘Preposterous and Wrong’

J.J. Abrams wants to know where the Rey toys are, too. The director of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” slammed the lack of merchandise for Daisy Ridley‘s character, the female hero of the film. “It seems preposterous and wrong that the main character of the movie is not well-represented in what is clearly a huge piece of the ‘Star Wars’ world, in terms of merchandising,” Abrams told TheWrap Saturday following a TCA panel.
