The Geena Davis Institute, a leading research organization dedicated to improving representation in media and entertainment, is seeking a skilled Grant Writing Consultant. This role is pivotal in enabling us to continue our impactful research and advocacy work by securing essential funding.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
- Develop and write compelling grant proposals and reports, tailoring each submission to align with both our mission and the funder’s objectives.
- Manage the grant submission process, ensuring all proposals meet funder guidelines and deadlines.
- Collaborate with our research and program teams to gather the necessary information and outcomes to support funding requests.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in grant writing with a successful track record of securing funding.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
