Wonder Woman joins ‘Supergirl’ cast as the president of the United States

The original onscreen Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, is about to show “Supergirl” how it’s done. Carter, who brought the female superhero to life in the late ‘70s on ABC’s “Wonder Woman,” will play the U.S. president on the CW show starring Melissa Benoist, the network announced Tuesday.
