Summer van Houten (she/her) is a Researcher at the Geena Davis Institute. Summer received her Master’s in Gender, Society, and Representation from University College London, having written her dissertation on the politics of feminist dystopias in the United States. Prior to her graduate study, she completed a BA in psychology and feminist studies at UCSB. She lives in Brooklyn, where she works in editing and production at O/R Books.
