Sahara Bushue is a veteran television executive with a background in unscripted and alternative long-form development and production. She is currently leading Unscripted LIVE programming and performance series for Netflix. Including the return of Rhythm & Flow and newly announced series Building the Band. 

Netflix recently escalated their LIVE programming slate with The SAG Awards, The Cup, The Slam, The Greatest Roast of All Time with Tom Brady, and the announcement of Unfinished Beef: Chestnut versus Kobayashi and Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson.

Bushue was formerly the Head of Unscripted Television for Westbrook Studios led by Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith. 

Prior to Westbrook, Bushue served as the Senior Vice President of Alternative Development & Current Programming at NBC. During her 13 years at the broadcast network, she oversaw the development and production of numerous hit series including America’s Got Talent, Ellen’s Game of Games, World of Dance, Little Big Shots, Hollywood Game Night, and more. In 2018, she was listed in the Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation of Rising Executives Under 35 and most recently Realscreen’s 2023 Factual Rising Stars Under 40. Bushue got her start in the industry through the renowned NBC Page Program.
