Kirsten Vangsness is an actor, writer and radical peacekeeper. She is the creator and host of “BITS!” (@itsshowbitsness on Instagram) a monthly show at Theatre of NOTE where anyone can share an under 7 minute bit of original art. She is the star and executive producer of ”Kill Me, Deadly” a film noir spoof on Apple/Amazon Prime. As a proud theatre nerd, Kirsten was seen last year at LA LGBT center’s “Lottie Plachett Took a Hatchett” and in Phinny Kiyomura’s “NIMROD”, a comedy Shakespearean retelling of the Trump presidency where she plays said president (the teleplay can be found where you get your podcasts). Kirsten and Assembly Rooms at Edinburgh Festival Fringe have produced two of her plays to sold out houses and this spring her newest play, “Outdated” will premiere in Los Angeles. She is the recipient of the HRC Visibility Award, the Open Fist Excellence in Arts Award, the L.A. Drama Critics Award for Best Actress and she has a monkey enclosure named after her at the Wildlife Learning Center. Currently, Kirsten can been seen playing Wizard Bigelow McFiggleHorn on Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and the brilliant, bespectacled tech kitten, Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds: Evolution.
