Jenna Virgo (she/her) is a Researcher at the Geena Davis Institute. She has her B.A. in anthropology from New College of Florida and her Master’s in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin. There she researched ritual participation of families with children with varying healthcare needs. She continues to work to promote visibility, active participation, and functional independence for children in her current role as a pediatric occupational therapist. She and her partner welcomed a baby in May of 2021 and are constantly learning and growing as caregivers.
