Elizabeth Kilpatrick (she/her) serves as the Senior Vice President of Development and Operations at the Geena Davis Institute. With a rich background in fundraising, marketing, and program management spanning over two decades, Elizabeth plays a pivotal role in driving the Institute’s mission forward. Founded by Academy Award-winning actor and advocate Geena Davis, the Institute is dedicated to eliminating unconscious bias, promoting gender balance, and challenging stereotypes within the entertainment industry.

In her capacity, Elizabeth oversees operational efficiency and fundraising efforts, working closely with the President & CEO to ensure seamless execution of programs and sustainable revenue generation. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing the Institute’s initiatives, and includes serving as a Producer of the Emmy-nominated, People’s Choice and Gracie Award winning television  television show “Mission Unstoppable with Miranda Cosgrove” on CBS and Executive Producer of the documentary currently in development, “Nothing Fits.” These projects exemplify the Institute’s commitment to showcasing diverse voices and narratives in media. 

Elizabeth and her colleagues at the Geena Davis Institute received the Governors Award from the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences at the 2022 Emmy’s in recognition of their profound, transformational and long-lasting contribution to the arts and/or science of television.

Elizabeth actively engages in advocacy for diversity and inclusion in media, participating in numerous speaking engagements and panels where she addresses critical issues such as fat representation, inclusion, and cultural impact in media. 

With over two decades of experience in fundraising, marketing, and program management with esteemed organizations like the University of Southern California, Autism Speaks, the Alzheimer’s Association and Goodwill Industries, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her strategic vision, coupled with her passion for social justice, makes her a driving force in advancing gender equality in the media landscape. Through her leadership and advocacy, Elizabeth continues to shape a more inclusive and equitable future.
