Elizabeth Kilpatrick (she/her) is the Senior Vice President of Development and Operations at the Geena Davis Institute, where she leads fundraising, and operations for an organization that’s reshaping how people are seen in media—across gender, race and ethnicity, LGBTQIA+ identity, disability, age, and body type.

With more than two decades in nonprofit leadership, she’s helped the Institute expand its reach, strengthen partnerships, and deepen its impact across research, advocacy, and entertainment. Elizabeth works closely with the President & CEO to sustain the Institute’s mission: using data and storytelling to eliminate bias and ensure authentic representation in media.

She’s also a Producer of the Emmy-nominated, Parent’s Choice, Gracie and Environmental Media Award-winning television series Mission Unstoppable with Miranda Cosgrove on CBS, and Executive Producer of the upcoming documentary Nothing Fits. Both projects reflect the Institute’s belief that representation can transform culture and possibility.

In recognition of that impact, the Geena Davis Institute received the Television Academy’s Governors Award at the 2022 Emmy Awards.

Elizabeth, alongside the executive team, led the Institute’s 20th-anniversary brand refresh which earned PR Daily’s Best Branding or Rebranding Campaign Award in 2025.

Before joining the Institute, Elizabeth held leadership roles at the University of Southern California, Autism Speaks, the Alzheimer’s Association, and Goodwill Industries. She brings deep experience in philanthropy, strategic partnerships, and organizational growth—and an unwavering belief that when media gets representation right, it changes everything.
