Naomi Watts and Jessica Lange to Star in New Gia Coppola Film

Naomi Watts and Jessica Lange are teaming up to star in Gia Coppola’s “The Secret Life of the Lonely Doll.” The indie drama is based on Jean Nathan’s 2004 nonfiction book of the same name. Nathan, a journalist, was inspired to track down Dare Wright, the author of the bestselling children’s book “The Lonely Doll.” Wright was a household name in the 1950s, but when Nathan investigated the author four decades later, she found her living an isolated existence in a public hospital in Queens, New York.
