It has been announced that Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis’ The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media will partner with FICCI FLO Film Festival this year to increase awareness about gender issues in media, women empowerment and social change. The institute is known to fight against gender disparity in the entertainment industry and aims to increase the visibility of women and put an end to stereotypes.
