Hollywood: Women in Movies From Past to Present

I’m not saying that filmmakers should revert to their old ways. Female actors deserve better than that. I’m saying that there has to be a better way to portray women on screen. They don’t have to take older films and reboot them with an all-female cast and call it a day. Can’t Hollywood come up with original movie ideas anymore? Not that I’m flat out complaining, it’s just that seeing various reboots of older films can be a bit much in my opinion. No offense to the upcoming Ben-Hur film.
