On September 6, 2025, Academy Award–winning actor and founder of the Geena Davis Institute, Geena Davis, took the Main Stage at the Library of Congress National Book Festival in Washington, D.C.

The annual festival brings together celebrated authors, creators, and cultural leaders from around the world. Geena Davis’ Library of Congress presentation highlighted her life and career, her advocacy for equity in media, and the mission of the Institute to advance representation across entertainment.
