‘Captain Marvel’ Lands Female Writers Behind ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ ‘Inside Out’

Nicole Perlman (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) and Meg LeFauve (Pixar’s “Inside Out”) are nearing a deal to co-write “Captain Marvel” for Disney and Marvel, an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap. Marvel had no comment. “Captain Marvel” is Marvel’s first female-driven superhero movie.
