Brie Larson (Finally) Confirmed As Captain Marvel – Comic-Con

Near the end of Marvel’s supersized Hall H panel this evening at Comic-Con, the studio made official what the rest of the world has taken for granted as a fact since reports of her casting first emerged back in June: Brie Larson will be playing Carol Danvers — aka Captain Marvel — in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel’s Kevin Feige made the announcement, and Larson surprised the crowd by showing up onstage.
