Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon to Receive Kering, Cannes Film Festival’s Women in Motion Award

Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon will receive the Women in Motion award from Kering and the Cannes Film Festival, it was annouced on Friday. The Academy Award-winning actresses are being honored for their contributions to the movie industry and the women’s cause as part of a program that aims to support female professionals in the film business. The “Thelma & Louise” stars, who are celebrating the cult hit’s 25th anniversary, will be honored at Cannes’ “presidential dinner” on May 15.
