This report provides data from a large scale, nationally-representative survey of African American tweens and teens (ages 11 to 17) and their parents, supplemented by a series of ten focus groups across the country. The primary purpose of the study is to understand to what degree and in what ways African American families are using and learning with technology outside of formal learning environments such as schools.
